This screen appears once when a new app release is installed. Tap the ? button at the top of the scorekeeper at any time to see these notes again.
- 5 Crowns rounds after 10 are now labeled 11, 12, and 13. The wild-card description still shows Jacks, Queens, and Kings.
- Finish Round now appears above Clear This Round and Start New Game.
- Player names are larger on the scorecard, and the duplicate points-behind text under each player name has been removed. Standings information remains in the Total column.
- Score entry is now a single plain number field for each player, with no spinner arrows or separate 0 button.
- Added Play Again — Same Players on the final-score screen to immediately start another game of the same type with the same players.
- Start New Game now clears the scores but remembers the current player names, so they are already filled in when you choose the next game.
- The SkyJo target score is also remembered when starting another game.
- Removed the explanatory standings line above the scorecard and the instructional text below the round controls for a cleaner scoring screen.
- Added Created By: Rob Williams at the bottom of the app.
- Added the release Version and a separate Build ID for troubleshooting.
- Added this What's New screen. It appears once for each new release and can be reopened with the ? button.
- Added live 1st, 2nd, 3rd and subsequent-place indicators without changing the physical order of the player rows.
- Added a visual leader highlight and shows how many points each player is behind the leader.
- Added tie handling so tied players receive the same rank.
- Standings are based on completed rounds so rankings do not jump while the current round is being entered.
- Created one scorekeeper for both SkyJo and 5 Crowns, supporting 2 to 8 players with round scores and running totals.
- SkyJo includes a configurable game-ending target and lets you continue or end the game when the target is reached.
- 5 Crowns automatically steps through the 3 through King rounds, shows the current wild card, and includes a quick 0-score button.
- Game progress is saved locally on the device and the app supports offline/PWA use after it has been loaded.
